Student Exchange 2018

The National School of Judges for the third time will take place in AIAKOS Exchanges program organized for the fourth consecutive year by the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN).

The program aims to bring together prospective judges and prosecutors from various EU Member States, to highlight the European dimension of the judicial function and to promote mutual understanding of different European cultures and judicial systems.
The duration of the program is two (2) weeks: a week to visit the Schools of Judges of other countries and to be integrated in their educational curriculum and one week to host and receive in the National School of Judiciary from other countries and attendance of our educational curriculum.

Specifically, the National School of Judiciary:

  • Sent for the week of 14 to 18 May 2018, 12 students of the twenty four educational course of all the three educational branches of the School in EU Schools of Judges, which distributed as follows: one in Germany, three in Hungary, five in Romania, two in Slovenia and one in Sweden.
  • Hosted in Thessaloniki for the week of 14 to 18 May 2018, 11 students coming from the Judicial Schools of Germany, Lithuania, Holland and Czech Rebublic.
  • Sent for the week of 28 to 1 June 2018, 12 students of the twenty four educational course of all the three educational branches of the School in EU Schools of Judges, which distributed as follows: three in Germany, five in Italy, two in Holland and two in Poland.
  • Hosted in Thessaloniki for the week of 28 to 1 June 2018, 12 students coming from the Judicial Schools of Germany, Italy, Poland and Czech Rebublic.
  • Will sent for the week of 19 to 23 November 2018, 12 students of the twenty four educational course of all the three educational branches of the School in EU Schools of Judges, which distributed as follows: two in Belgium, seven in France, one in Germany, one in Italy and one in Poland.
  • Will host in Thessaloniki for the week of 19 to 23 November 2018, 12 students coming from the Judicial Schools of Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Romania.
